ANTFOOD Studio, Brooklyn

Client: Antfood

Role: Interior Architect

Location: Brooklyn, New York

The studio was designed as a fully isolated recording environment within a complex, mixed-use building composed of two distinct structures with both commercial and residential occupancy.

Following the client’s acquisition of the property, the project expanded beyond a typical interior build-out—allowing the studio to be treated as an architectural system that influenced nearly the entire building. This enabled the construction of a completely decoupled studio environment, designed to meet rigorous acoustic and vibration-isolation requirements within an urban context.

In addition to designing the space, MODA was closely involved in project management and construction administration to ensure that architectural intent, acoustic performance, and building constraints remained aligned through execution.
