A brand environment

(In partnership with a producing agency)

Context

Mastercard commissioned an experiential environment at Glasshouse Chelsea—an architecturally expressive venue defined by openness, light, and structural clarity.

The challenge was to create a brand experience that could assert presence within a fully transparent envelope—one that felt immersive and intentional without competing with the architecture itself.

Scope & Contribution

MODA partnered with BMF Media, who produced the event, to develop the creative and spatial framework for the activation.

MODA’s work focused on:

  • Establishing the overarching experiential concept

  • Designing architectural and environmental elements responsive to the Glasshouse’s transparency

  • Translating Mastercard’s brand values into form, material, and light

  • Creating spatial moments that supported gathering, circulation, and programming

  • Ensuring a cohesive experience across all touchpoints

The space was treated as an architectural system—designed to work with light, reflection, and visibility rather than against them.

Design Intent

The environment emphasized clarity, rhythm, and restraint.

Rather than enclosing the space or relying on surface graphics, the design used proportion, layering, and controlled interventions to create moments of focus within an otherwise open volume—allowing the brand to feel confident, contemporary, and grounded.

Outcome

The activation delivered a refined, immersive brand presence that complemented the Glasshouse’s architecture while clearly expressing Mastercard’s identity.

By aligning creative direction and spatial design under a single vision, the project demonstrated how brand environments can achieve impact through architectural discipline rather than visual excess.

Attribution

This project was produced by BMF Media. MODA’s role reflects creative authorship and spatial design leadership within that collaboration.
